Degree and Certificate Programs
The Barenboim-Said Akademie offers three different programs aimed at the different stages of a musician’s career development and musical skills. For musicians looking for undergraduate education, the Barenboim-Said Akademie offers an accredited, four-year Bachelor of Music degree in all orchestral instruments, piano, and composition. Non-accredited programs offered at the Barenboim-Said Akademie include an Artist Diploma certificate program for advanced musicians who are preparing to embark on a performing career, and the Preparatory Program, for musicians facing extenuating life circumstances. The Barenboim-Said Akademie is a state-recognized institute of higher learning in accordance with Berlin higher education law.

A Supportive Environment
The Barenboim-Said Akademie offers full scholarships and stipends as well as housing to all Bachelor of Music and Preparatory Program students.
